Cannot get this shortcut to work for some reason. Running Word for Mac 15.28 (Office 365) on Sierra 10.12.1. Now you can create the macro: Click on Developer and choose Macros. Scroll down until you see Developer and check it. First, you'll have to make the Developer tab visible: In Word, choose Word>Preferences>Ribbon. You can change this behavior by using a macro. ![]() You don't have to do anything to the copy command, just paste. I've seen this question asked for different versions of word, but unfortunately the different version are different enough that these answers aren't helpful. Right now I have to go through the paste special menu and select the unformatted text option.
